    Default Two counterfeit "Gibson" bowlbacks listed on eBay.....

    I just did my routine search of "vintage mandolin" on eBay, sorted by "newly listed" and found two old bowlbacks with Gibson decals listed by the same seller as "conversational pieces"......he explains in the fine print that Gibson never made a bowlback and that is what makes them conversational pieces! He doesn't seem to realize that type of conversation can get you into a lot of trouble!

    Sorry, I don't have the computer skills to list a link, but I'm sure the experts here can readily provide one.

    Ease up, folks. The seller states clearly that these are not Gibson mandolins.
