Default David Brown of King Brown Mandolins Brisbane Australia

15 or maybe more years ago I purchased a mandolin from David Brown of King Browns Mandolins in Brisbane Australia. I've tried to find his website and cannot find it If anyone knows how I can get in touch with Dave Brown of King Brown instruments please let me know. You can also text me at 304-444-4868
I purchased his second mandolin he made and I would like to know anyone else purchased a mandolin from David. The mandolin I purchased from him had a nice deep throaty voice.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks

Well, I haven't heard of mandolins by another David Brown.

I only play them, I do not make them!

I've looked at the ''King Brown'' mandolin arm rests many times. David Brown makes superb ones. Here's one link :-

PS - As his name only crops up for his arm rests,it seems that he might not be building mandolin any more. He used to come under ''King Brown Mandolins''.

I remember seeing some of his mandos here years ago. If I recall, they looked rather nice. F4s maybe?

There are a few guys making three or four mandolins a year in the area. None have web sites, so maybe that is the case here.

    Hi Ron,
Just browsing Mandolin Cafe this morning and came across your post. I remember you and I am still kicking. I am retired now and still making Arm Rests www.mandolinarmrests.com. I still do repairs. I also have some mandolins in various stages of construction but unfinished. I closed my website on advice from my Tax Accountant but unfortunately found out later that the advice was wrong (it was too late to resurrect my site). Over time I made in excess of 30 Bluegrass Mandolins.
