    Just heard Roy has passed,,a great picker,and a very nice person. He will be missed!! Rest in peace Roy,,,God bless

    RIP Roy Clark. That guy had some chops, will be missed.
    Davey Stuart tenor guitar (based on his 18" mandola design).
    Eastman MD-604SB with Grover 309 tuners.

    One of my earliest instrumental inspirations: playing all the instruments just seemed like a natural thing to do - opening up a world of opportunity for me. I largely credit RC (on TV) for the model.

    Yep! He was, probably, the biggest influence for me to pick up a stringed instrument when I was a young'un. Not only did he make everything he played look easy but he also looked like he enjoyed playing for everyone.
