Default Tendonitis update and some hints

I'm continuing to work on my right hand tendonitis issue, and have made some progresss. Thought I'd share.

    • Alternate heat and cold, 20 minutes each for a couple rounds. (My PT recommended and it works!) I do it after I play.
    • Before playing and first thing in the morning and last thing at night, I'm doing only about 5 minutes of stretching of my hands. I'll see if I can figure out a way to post pictures of what I'm doing. The thing is, they have to be G.E.N.T.L.Y. done.
    • I'm limiting my playing/practicing time to about 15 minutes, per session, a couple of times a day. And I'm making sure that a good part of that are exercises, not hard core picking (since this is a right hand problem).

    So far so good.

The bad news is that what doesn't kill us makes us stronger. The good news is that what kills us makes it no longer our problem

Belbein, Are you using a brace? Was it recommended? I have a lightweight thumb and wrist brace that’s worked well for me.
