    Default Loar 520 and 590

Just wondering why the 590 and the 520 are the same price but the 590 is very stripped down.

590 has slightly better woods and generally sounds a little better. Up until a few months ago, the 590 was actually $50 more than the 520.

Robert, what's the different between the 600 & the 590 ?, and by the way your new look on your web site is great.

Tony, Well the LM-600 is fully clad.

They are very similar without anything being identical

Ebony fingerboard on the LM-600, Padauk on the 590 (was rosewood pre-Cites). Aside from the cosmetics, there are Gotoh tuners on the 600 and Grover on the 590 (both are good quality). Higher grades of woods used on the 600 and they are carved differently.

In the end, the 600 is decked out and has better tone.

The biggest change to the website is a lack of instruments in stock! haha Still in the midst of a long overdue business revamp.
