Owosso isn’t too far from here, I don’t know that I really want one but, it wouldn’t be a bad Sunday afternoon drive to pick it up and leaves are pretty still.

It's funny that in the original post, the character that looks like some sort of ancient 5th century Saint Patrick inspired Celtic figure is playing an f-style mandolin.
They have been on ebay for quite a while now. I kind of like them, but not enough to order one.
THE WORLD IS A BETTER PLACE JUST FOR YOUR SMILE!
I have a few "Lute" type art ive gotten as presents and such. ..Slowly collecting dust in the attic. Not my type and mandolin stuff.
That's why we enacted a strict "no gifts" policy. Got tired of feeling socially obligated to store, display (or worse, wear) so much well-intentioned yet inappropriate stuff.
The thing is, far too many people invariably inquire about their gifts at some point, like "How's that [item] working out, do you still like it?"
Umm... thinking to myself, whaddaya mean "still", I never liked it in the first place, but of course one can't actually say stuff like that (and still have any friends lol).
The "no gifts" policy saves a lot of headache and hassle, as well as no longer any need to store a bunch of stuff that someone else thought looked cute.
Saves them a lot of money, too. Once people get used to the "no gifts" idea, it's a win/win for everyone.

CLARIFICATION: The above is generally speaking of gifts in general, but it's *not* intended to be an observation about the mandolin art posted in this thread. Personally, any kind of display art (that doesn't actually perform a function), is not something that I would be interested in owning (I don't like dusting things that I'm not actually using for some purpose), but I will admit that many types of knick-knack art objects *can* be kinda cute to look at, y'know for people who are into that sort of thing anyway.
