Default Halsey mandolin in the classifieds

I think this is the first time I have ever seen one of Bill's mandolins for sale......

Bill is known as a gold medal winning bow maker for violin family instruments and is a super nice guy.

    This mandolin looks really nice.

I played that one, if memory serves. I remember the abbreviated Florida.
Someone had better buy this and put me out of my misery!

I have been lucky to have been a “tester” of a few of Bills Mandolins and they are really lovely pieces. I may be biased, because of my long relationship but, all the lines are “fair” (from the boat building world), color is smooth visually, I should just stop raving.
I played his prototype for about six or seven months and it was a joy!

Bill was also part of the team at Gibson when the F5L was introduced and has been a member of the Cafe for years.

Doesn’t say if the finger rest is included, interesting. Bill made those to original specs too!
