Default Jeremiah Clarke: A Trumpet Minuet, OM/mandocello duet

Jeremiah Clarke (1674-1707): "A Trumpett Minnuett"
From "A Choice Collection of Ayres For the Harpsichord or Spinett" (1700)

This is a short keyboard piece, possibly originally intended for trumpets, by Jeremiah Clarke. It was originally published in the same small collection as Clarke's much more famous "The Prince Of Denmark's March" (better known as the Trumpet Voluntary).

I have played the tune as a duet on octave mandolin (mandola in G) and mandocello, based on an adaptation for two cellos by Wilfried Wachter which I found on Musescore.

    The harpsichord urtext is at:

The cello duet arrangement is at:

    Mid-Missouri M-111 octave mandolin
    Suzuki MC-815 mandocello
