    Used Kentucky KM-150 for $195 from Bernunzio. They will check and adjust the setup before it leaves their shop.
    You'd be hard pressed to find a better deal in your price range.

    All solid wood and Elderly will ship it setup and ready to play. The best you will find under $300.
    that looks like a deal and elderly does great set ups

    Too late, I just snagged it.

    I've been in the market for my first mandolin too. All of the mandolin's I've considered had been shot down by this forum (thanks for helping me resist lower quality instruments), so when this one came up I thought I'd give it a full day's consideration. Unfortunately, you all scared me by posting about it in this thread, so I pulled the trigger.
