    Hi all,

I want to replace the soft gig bag that came with my mandolin with a hard-shell case. I'd like to find one that allows the mandolin to fit in with the Tone-Gard and arm-rest install. Does anyone have any recommendations for a case that would work for this?

Check out Crossrock Fiberglass cases. They have a lot of room..they even come with an extra pad at the bottom near the tailpin. I also have a Travelite and the Crossrock has more room..a toneguard should fit well. It also has two straps if you want to wear it as a backpack.

Guardian CG-035 tweed universal generally does well. I always stock them because they fit almost anything!!

Every TKL case I've had fit with a tone guard. Hiscox cases fit with tone guards. Those Musicians Gear economy cases fit with tone guards.

Very hard cases?! The Eastman fiberglass case works with a ToneGard. So does the Saga (Golden Gate) fiberglass case. And the Calton fiberglass case. And the Price fiberglass case. And the Hoffee carbon-fiber case, too. Lots of choices!
