Fall String Gathering, Clarion Hotel, Nov 16-18, 2018-Jam Fest!!

Welcome!! Are you ready to jam, learn and share new tunes, and join with others and have a great time!!

Traditional music lovers, mark the weekend of November 16-18, 2018 on your calendars for the first Fall String Gathering! The Baraboo Clarion Hotel venue will have multiple jam areas always available on two floors (like in past years), additionally we are planning to have specific jams for old time, bluegrass, Irish, Cajun, and sing-along folk music, as well as adding a slow jam for beginning musicians.
You can come in for the day and do not have to stay overnight to attend the event (but staying overnight better allows you jam on into the night and early morning!).

Here are the specifics:

What:
Fall String Gathering--jam venues for traditional music. At least 5 areas of the hotel on the fourth and fifth floors have been designated as "jam spaces." Also, guests can host jams in their rooms on the jam floors. Please specify that you do not want to be on one of these floors when booking a room.

When:
November 16-18, 2018 (Friday and Saturday Night)

Reservations:
A special rate of $69.00 per night (Friday and Saturday night) is available if you book your room by November 1st. When making reservations be sure to contact the hotel directly and indicate that you are part of the "Fall String Gathering." Also indicate if you want to be on a jam floor (4th and 5th floor) or another floor when booking your room.

What to bring:
Your instruments (of course), snacks and/or beverages to share, and you may want to bring a folding or camp chair (other meetings in the hotel may use a lot of chairs).

Cost:
There is no charge for attending the actual event---reserve your room directly with the Clarion Hotel.
