    Default Bone source

Here is a bone source that I found in western NC. I've bought from them online before but, this time my wife and I were up that way and I bought in the store. The bone is un-dyed and a nice cream color. Very hard. The picture with the bone blanks cost me around $14.00 for all of what's seen. I can get 6 nuts per piece. The other picture shows what the nut looks like. Good stuff and cheap. Just thought I share my good find. NFI

Try TSC.. Tractor Supply Center.. They have a pretty big pet dept.... For $5 you can get enough bone for dozens of nuts, points, or what ever.. Some are clean, some are not.. I cook them for an hour with a few teaspoons of bleach till all of the fat is off.. Suppliers charge several dollars for just one piece but there is no work to that...…..
