There are always options! I think a call to Elderly for the sweet little F-2 up there would probably take care of both issues! Not my Mandolin but, I think I knew the previous owner,(if it’s the one I think it is) it’s sister is still pretty close as well. I have a soft spot for them anyway but, if it’s the one I think it was really a sweetheart! Excellent condition.

Stimulate the mandolin economy and find that armrest a home. I feel your pain as I have an extra pick guard, truss rod cover, end pin and tuners that I need to find mandolins for.
Might as well go ahead and buy a Gilchrist to go with it.
You don't know what real problems are until you have an extra Calton case.
