    Smile NMD Kentucky KM 272

I took the advice of some posts here and bought a Kentucky KM272. Wow! It's nothing like any mandolin I've ever gotten the chance to hold & play. (My experiences are somewhat limited.)

Physically, it's absolutely perfect. After being a ghost here, I sort of know what to look for. Musically it just sounds gorgeous. I've only gotten to play a few scales & excercises, and a couple of strummed tunes, but it's beautiful. I'm so appreciative to the review by Cliff Seruntine and then the subsequent discussion that started in February.

And once the storm is over, you won’t remember how you made it through, how you managed to survive. You won’t even be sure, whether the storm is really over. But one thing is certain. When you come out of the storm, you won’t be the same person who walked in. That’s what this storm’s all about.

Congratulations on the new mandolin! It should only get better with time.
