Sounds great! You've got that mandolin and oldtime banjo really working together for a nice sound. Very enjoyable to listen to.
Many thanks for your kind comment and for pointing me to the tune. I appreciate it!

The CD by Matthew Fox and Jeff Winegar is on YouTube.
I learned it by slowing the play speed to .5 and playing along ad nauseum.
Then I increased the speed to .75 and played along with that.
Finally, I set it to normal speed and scratched along with that.
Then, I figured it out on the banjo and proceeded from there...almost drove my wife off the deep end.

hi lapppy thanks so much .. i dont know how to do that... i was hoping someone had the tab or the sheet music .....
At the top right side of the YouTube video are a bunch of symbols. Hit the one that is 3 vertical dots. Down comes a menu. At the bottom of this menu, choose “playback speed”. Then choose 0.5x. Now when you play the video, it is at half speed but the key does not change.
thanks lapppy gonna give er a try
tried that lappy but i dont see playback in the drop down box what could i be doing wrong ???? thanks lapppy
FWIW, here's what I'm seeing here...
- On my Android phone, when viewing the video via Chrome browser, the 3 dots do *not* have a playback speed control.
- On the exact same Android phone, when viewing the same video via the dedicated YouTube app, playback speed controls *are* available via the 3 dots. Side note: I vaguely recall that when I first got this phone, the default was for it to automatically open all videos in the special YouTube app instead of in Chrome, but I changed that default setting for some reason which I don't recall now... so now anytime (which is very seldom, mostly only for testing) that I tap a video link on some webpage on that Android phone, the video plays right in Chrome instead of opening up the separate YouTube app.
- On my computer running Chrome browser, no dots, but playback speed control *is* available via the small gear-shaped icon near *lower* right corner of video.
As to embedded videos, I don't remember if there are playback speed options now (there didn't used to be), I'd have to go find one first to test it, running a little short of time right now.
thanks a bunch
