Default Mandolin Rag - Doc Roberts

I've been working on the Doc Roberts mandolin tunes. Here is my Mandolin Rag:

and my Honeymoon Stomp (although I'm not as happy with this one yet):

    Scott,

Thanks for sharing! I've got these recordings somewhere, I need to track them down. As I play (at!) both fiddle and mandolin, I love finding Old Time mandolin tunes that aren't just crossover fiddle tunes.

    Great Job!

Thanks! I first started working on both from the Dr. Fiddle transcriptions. I recently went back to them and was disappointed to find out that Dr. Fiddle’s website is gone. I guess I should have saved those tune files when I had the chance. I think Mandolin Rag came out better from listening to it and learning it that way. But I struggle with the Honeymoon Stomp variations
