Oh BOY! And I just asked about the consensus on carbon fiber picks before I saw this thread!

The V-Pick Tremolo Pointed implies it was made more for mandolinists than guitarists, but as a guitar pick, it is unexpectedly amazing. Unfortunately, they are easy to lose.

    I was just given a Fender medium 346...big pick....and I like it.

I normally use Golden Gates, interesting difference in the two sounds. The Fender is also bigger than the Golden Gate.

I love Charmed Life Picks! I just received two of their large triangles in the mail. One is a deep red, and the other is tiger striped orange. It's crazy how smooth and fluid they are on the on the strings. I have been playing Wegen large triangles on guitar and mandolin for probably 15 years, with the occasional foray into D'Andrea or Dawg picks, but these Charmed Life are at a whole different level.

I bought one a year ago and liked it but lost it a jam almost immediately, so I said never again! I decided that $8 for a Wegen was my limit. I am glad I raised my ceiling on a whim.

Wow, this is an older thread, but thanks for the reviews and info about new stuff out there.
