    Default Most vital mandolin articles

One of Wikipedia's backroom projects a list of articles considered most "vital" to have exist in all of its multiple language encyclopedias. There is a section listed for mandolin players, although they seem to mean classical mandolin players. However, when I added Chris Thile and Mike Marshall, the lines blurred, as they cross a lot of boundaries. Based on that blurring, I added David Grisman as well.

This all is fairly arbitrary, and I don't know ultimately how many slots mandolins will be allowed to make. Here's the list. Any suggestions for whom to add or take off? I think 10 names will likely be a solid limit. BTW, Bill Monroe is already listed as a folk/country musician.

    Raffaele Calace
    Bernardo De Pace
    Avi Avital
    David Grisman
    Chris Thile
    Mike Marshall
    Ugo Orlandi

If it’s just classical, Katerina Lichtenberg. But if we can stretch it, Dave appollon as well.

How about early mandolinists such as Seth Weeks, Valentine Abt, Samuel Siegel. Should they make such a limited list? Should they displace anyone on it?
