Del Band....

I'm sure many, many members have seen the Del McCoury Band over the years, as have I, but I saw them from a stage-side table at the Old Town School in Chicago on Sunday and my goodness, was that sweet (picture is from my seat: I'd never take a pic with a band playing, nor does OTS permit it, so of course, it's just the set up). Del's voice continues to be a treasure. Ronnie just ripped on the mandolin (the Gil). And, to head off the inevitable question, I did not notice what pick he was using.

It was head-shaking good....
