Default Italian mazurka: "Amore è follia" (1919)

    G. Caropresi (arr. Luigi Canoro): "Amore è follia" - Mazurka
Published in New York by O. Di Bella, 1919

This is an Italian-American mazurka, written for the Italian dance band circuit of the 1910s. Like most of these ballo liscio tunes, it was arranged for two mandolins and guitar. I have extracted an additional mandocello part from the guitar bass line.

I'm playing this at a fairly sedate 90bpm. It should be faster, but I'll need to practice those triplets a bit more to ramp up the tempo...

The score is in Sheri's Dropbox folder, attached for easy reference.

    Mid-Missouri M-0W mandolin (x2)
    Vintage Viaten tenor guitar
    Suzuki MC-815 mandocello
