I have a mandolin and a banjolin or madolin-banjo, as you choose, so you can decide whether that's a yes or no.

I've but a single mandolin, For now.*

Bought an Eastman MD315 last April, having never played a mandolin before. For those who are unaware, the 300 series have a matte finish. About 6 months in I noticed a shiny spot on the lower bout. I assumed it was potato chip residue and felt shame. Then while watching myself in a mirror I noticed that I tend to brush the lower bout with my fingers while strumming and that the shiny spot was in essence a wear mark. So, rather than a stigma of shame, the shiny part became a badge of honor and an indication of hours spent practicing. I reached for another potato chip...

*I am in the process of building an e-mando so when it is finished I shall no longer be monogamous.

One Heiden A Mandolin, one Violin, one Pisgah Banjo , keeps me busy.

I worked for Frito-Lay back for five years back in the 70's. After you have been around them for that long, you can eat just one.

Just one? Yes. Just one flat top mandolin. Just one Gibson oval hole. Just one Breedlove. Just one octave mandolin.

Am better with bikes, where I'm now down to two.

Does having just one mando-banjo count?...although I own 4 other wooden top mandolins.

Count me in. When I was fortunate enough to get my Randy Wood F 5 back in 1993 I discovered my MAS just went away...........and it's still gone.

I have just one acoustic guitar, just one electric bass, and just one ukulele . . . but just one mandolin? Not happening!

    I have one.
    It has served me admirably.

MAS in remission for 25 years! That has to be a record. Are you sure you're still alive Denny?

I have 2 right now, an Eastman 605 and an Epiphone MM-30. I would only have one, but no one wants to buy the Epiphone.

I bought my first two mandolins at the same time, an archtop and a flattop. A bowlback followed a few months later.

My instruments go into three categories
    - wall hangers, never played: 5 (one of those is the bridgeless violin that haunted my youth)
    - half dormant instruments, played occasionally for videos and other purposes: 3 (mandolin, TB, electric TG)
    - active instrument played in sessions (and rare gigs): 1 (OM)

Me, but I'm pretty much a newbie. I've played borrowed instruments on and off, but only bought my own mandolin last fall.

Please be patient with me, I'm only half-baked.
60+ years an amateur musician, lots of instruments, but only one mandolin.
Eastman MD304 (and yes, I like it a lot)

Just one, for a short while longer, my Beavertail pancake, which IMO, is a great little mandolin. It has a very sweet, beautiful tone.

I have only one guitar. Does that count?
Lots of people have a whole house full of guitars...
I'm not rich but I've lived long enough to collect some things.
It's kind of like collecting dust. It just happened.

Have only one mandolin, a Collins MT.

Mandolin is a second (third if you count bass) instrument and I am supremely satisfied with this mandolin at the moment.

I could, one day, see buying an f of some brand just because..... but that may be a very long time from now.

I have two, but one's for sale. I bought the upgrade before unloading the other one. Now I'm waiting for better weather (May?) so I can take the extra one outside to photograph and post.

I have only one but I keep my eyes open in the Café classifieds and sponsors websites. Another one is calling my name; I hear it - I just need to find it.
