The Spring String Gathering Is Back!

Attention Midwest Bluegrass and Old Time Musicians (and fans)--this spring you can join in on a great weekend of jamming!!

This year the Spring String Gathering will be held April 20-22, 2018, in Portage Wisconsin (1 hour north of Madison), at the Best Western Hotel and Convention Center and will feature several jamming opportunities for Old Time and Bluegrass musicians (and fans). As in the past, jamming is likely to go into the wee hours of the morning!

The format and layout will very similar to the former gatherings held in Baraboo. One floor will be reserved for jamming–in addition to special meeting rooms.

This event is FREE---no need to book a room to attend if you only want to join us for the day or have other lodging arrangements.

A block of rooms has been reserved at the special rate of $82 per night. Specify that you want the special rate for the Spring String Gathering. Also specify if you want to be on the jam floor when you book the room.

Hi Everyone--It looks like we will have a great Spring String Gathering this year! People booked 25 rooms already at the hotel---however we are pretty sure more rooms are available.

Also--for those in the local area (Madison, WI)--feel free to drop in during the event for a few hours or all day...the event is free. The 4th floor of the hotel is the jam floor--in the rooms and in the hall...plus there are conference rooms open for jamming on the first floor.
