Default Rubner A model tuner review

I just received a set of brushed nickel tuners from Rubner. They are beautiful and work very smoothly. I can’t see why anyone wouldn't use this tuner over some of the more expensive options. The price, function and quality of these machines are unbeatable. I haven’t had them installed yet but can’t imagine a problem once they’re on the instrument.
What I like the most is they’re individuality. They’re not trying to look like anything else. Very tastefully designed.

It's funny, the only thing I don't like about them is the black trim. I'm a traditionalist I guess.

I just put a set of the brushed brass on my Yellowstone F5 and they are so much better than the Grover 309's. Bruce Weber will be building me a two point soon and I am providing him with a set of brushed nickle Rubner and a James Tailpiece.

I imagine like Waverly.. peg to base plate alignment, is everything .. tight tolerances..
so if the holes on the peg had are not spot on,

that binding negatively affects how they function..
