    Looks good!

    I think it would also work for Medieval music.

    Very much so - this sort of instrument was played in medieval spain, hence Andalusian oud, from Al-Andalus.

    Please tell us what kind of wood it is made from. The tuning pegs look like maple (Acer) and I've never seen commercially made pegs of maple. Did you make these too?

    The pegs are boxwood.
    Spruce soundboard. Ash body and pegbox. Sapele bridge and pickguard. Cherry fingerboard. The neck is spruce with a sapele veneer.

    The tuning is ADGC. Scale length of 580mm.
