    Watching Jack White American Epic music series on PBS. There was group featuring a mandolin player on an old gibson white face (assume A3) . Help me out guys what's the group's name?

    That's Ashley Monroe and the Americans. They're playing "Jubilee." Haunting. The mandolin plays a leading role, and it's well executed.

    Came across the show while channel surfing last night. What a treat. I'm also a big Pokey LaFarge fan, another plus.

Fender FM- 60 E 5 string electric (with juiced pickups). 1950's Gibson EM-200 electric mandolin. 1954 Gibson EM-150 electric mandolin. Custom made "Jett Pink" 5 string electric- Bo Diddley slab style. Jay Roberts Tiny Moore model 5 string electric.
