    Default Bought a Jim Triggs F5 V

Have to pass this along while I am still on a purchase high. Just picked up a 2007 Triggs F5 varnish with beautiful one piece back in excellent + condition. In discussing with the owner I discovered it had a flat fret board and I have shied away from them as I have only owned radius mandolins. It was within a short drive so I went to try it. Bingo what an instrument and really like the flat board. So for those that have passed over a good deal because of flat fret board mandolins try one first...you never know. Cudos to Jim Triggs and his son Ryan. Wonderful insrument.

Congrats! I've played several of his archtop guitars. He is a top-notch luthier!
