Default Taking my Breedlove mando out of the country: problems on return?

Do I need any documentation/permits to take my '03 Breedlove(maple, spruce, ebony) traveling(specifically, for return to the US)? I don't see why, but, thought I'd ask around.

You may want to check out this site:

    https://www.cbp.gov/travel/us-citizens

I filled out some sort of form declaring my camera gear to avoid having to pay tariffs bringing them back into the country. When I cleared US Customs no one asked but, technically, they could. You do have to be kind of dumb to go to the EU to buy camera gear though. Maybe returning from Asia would get closer scrutiny.

declare your gear and you won't have a problem on return.
