How about " Less Is More"? Or you could use a name we thought of for our rock band back in the early 70's, "Cannibal Axle".

The Philly Phools. I haven't taken my medication today yet.
I played with a band called the Whiskey Chorus and they have now retired, It's there for the taking and we won't mind!
I never fail at anything, I just succeed at doing things that never work....

Haha, Tim, is that like the "Long Jeans" one?

I always thought Marty Stuart hit the right note when he called his backup band "The Fabulous Superlatives". It's always a challenge to find the right superlative.
How about "Note Poets?"
No offense, but I would forget all of these names the minute my eye left the poster.
I don’t think the name has to be genre-descriptive.
Hmm, "The non-genre descriptives". Yes, but is it superlative enough?
I almost forgot this, I thought of it while driving to a radio show last night. Fortunately it came back to me, or maybe not fortunate, you be the judge." Strings and Things"
THE WORLD IS A BETTER PLACE JUST FOR YOUR SMILE!
Thank you all for the great suggestions for our group name! I think many of the ideas would have been a good for the group. I really enjoyed the entire thread.
We settled on a name suggested by Astro, the Delphi Consort. (thanks, Astro!!) The name is a great fit because half of our group resides in Philadelphia County and the other half in Delaware County...So it seemed make sense to capitalize both the D and the P...DelPhi Consort.
If you are interested, here is another recording from the group.
Thanks again for all the suggestions.
Nice choice. I see it's legit music, so you wouldn't want mine: Ananda Plumes, or pheldy cheese incident, or... (though I'm sure it's been done to death)
Da PhilDE Phish..?
*(Sorry, that should be "Phildy cheese" above)

I believe a name should get your attention, and be a little funny. Why not just use your names until a good catchy name comes along. I live in South Carolina and when I go up north for a gig I call the band "behind yankee lines" how about "the amazing incredables"
Anyway good luck

Think Brazil because there're is a history of Accordeon and Mandolin/Bandolim...
Also the Accordeon is an Aerophone by definition.
Also consider a single word that describes your music/musical intention rather than focus on the tangible obvious.. ie bellows, frets, strings, chords, keys, etc.
There are some very fine Euro groups who play eclectic music with band/group names such as Naragonia, .. and I'll get back with some others.
I would rather NOT see a name that sounds a bit contrived or new age vaudevillian(sp), your music is far too good for that.

Great suggestions, Jeff! Thanks.
