    Default New Girouard at TME

I think Max and Lauri are producing some great mando-family instruments these days. Stunning looks and I'm hoping TME gets a video done before it sells. NFI.

I played that one. It is one of THE best mandolins in the shop, and that is saying a lot, because they have a lot of great mandolins in the store right now.
Good Advice: Play before you pay, and know your product and your market.

I played on of their new F5s back in the summer and thought it was pretty great. They seem to just be getting better.

It appears to be on hold...someone's going to get something special!
One watch by night, one watch by day...if you get confused, just listen to the music play.

That was me who put it on hold back in November and yes I did get something special. It's a remarkable instrument in many ways. It's my second Girouard and my G5 hasn't been out of the case much since acquiring this A. It calls me to play every day and someday my playing will deserve such a fine instrument. Beyond the fit, finish and tone, communicating with Max has made this purchase even better. Though Max will humbly remind you Lauri is responsible for the gorgeous finish on the instrument. I can't imagine a better experience securing an instrument...including TME for introducing me to Girouard

I have a new Girouard A oval ordered to be delivered summer 2018 ! Gold James tailpiece, Gold EVO frets and Gold/black Rubner luxury tuners. Oil varnish instead of spirit varnish.
My two favorite pastimes are drinking wine and playing the mandolin but most of my friends would rather hear me drink wine! Adapted from quote by Mark Twain------supposedly !
