    Any information about this mandolin?
    I'm intrigued by the way the soundhole or the bridge can affect the sound.

    Soundhole only one one side?
    Looks like the player can hear his own instrument perfectly for the first time ahah

    This is early 20C Italian mandolin of "Sistema Brevittato Eliseo Secchi". They were marketed by Monzino in Milan. They were also briefly copied by the Germans in Markneukirchen. An interesting piece of musical history.
