    I asked a while ago about the woods used, and was told it could be a laminate!
    I never fail at anything, I just succeed at doing things that never work....

    I worked on one last year that a student bought (also found on Ebay) and needed some repairs. Looked identical to this. It was a laminated top (sapele veneer)... I certainly would not pay very much for one....not a good sounding instrument, in my opinion. Quite heavily built and rather thin and dead sounding.
