Default Any one have experience with a Giggle 8 String Electric mandolin?

I'm looking for a super low cost near silent travel instrument. Will also plug in my I-Rig with head phones.
    Any one ever play these?

Well, I usually don't have a problem posting links but I can't post this one either. Cafe software may be blocking this particular site for some reason (might have been reported as a malware hosting site, etc.).

It's the same basic instrument as the Eastwood Mandocaster, Morgan Monroe electric, etc.

I have quite the same instrument (with the Clearwater brand).
It need a full setup and a new set of pickups to be a decent mando, but if you can do it by yourself, it worth it...

Shielding the control cavity is also highly recommended.
