I'm keen to take a lesson or two or at least have a chat with anybody in my metro area that plays classical instruments.
Best regards,
Spencer

A good place to start might be Bruce Clausen, who posts in some mandocafe forums.

Thanks for that, John. Spencer, I don't know of anyone teaching classical mandolin here, but there are some mandolin-centered ensembles that might be fun for you. PM me if you'd like suggestions.
I could put you in touch with Barbara Conrad, who sometimes ventures south with a few of her pals to play with the Seattle Mandolin Orchestra. I don't know if Barb gives lessons but she's an accomplished player.
Emando.com: More than you wanted to know about electric mandolins.
