Default We Banjo 3 tour-- don't miss them! (Mandolin content)

I got an email this morning with tour dates for We Banjo 3's summer tour. If they come anywhere near you, go see them.
It's not all banjos. Martin Howley spends pretty much equal time playing mandolin and banjo.
If you're a mandolin player who has toyed with getting the similarly tuned Tenor banjo, this might just push you over the edge.

Nowhere near me. Enda Scahill is phenomenal. I have watched lots of his videos. Oh well...

Saw them in Kilkenny last month, they were amazing. Martin played mandolin mostly, had a good chat about mandos after the gig.

My wife came over after a while and the first thing Martin said to her was..."he's promised to sell some of his instruments before he buy the another one!"

They are regulars at Milwaukee's Irishfest ... one of the largest in the world. August 17-20.

In addition to three days of WB3, there's a side project with Kiana Weber of Gaelic Storm, who is married to Martin. And this: "Beatles Show: We Banjo 3, Skerryvore and Friends".

Regardless, MKE Irishfest is a blast .....

They are a great gig to see at Irishfest. They have also played at the ICHC, Irish Cultural Heritage Center, which is in and old church. A very close and intimate show. Also looking forward to seeing Liz Carrol and Eileen Ivers in August.

I'm embarrassed to say I've never seen them. I think I share the same physiotherapist as them though!!!!

Saw them in an after-hours show at Cape Breton Celtic Colours a few years back. What a great band, whatever "it" is, they have it several times over!
