Default Playing " Statesboro' Blues on my own built 10 string.

This is the 4th mando I've built, or 5th if you include a miniature Les Paul style electric! I really wanted a 10 string after playing a Sobel and falling in love with it. But it wasn't to be! This, my 2nd 10 string was built with timber from a harp building friend in Germany, spruce top, maple back & sides and mahogany neck. The video is from a while back and its sound has developed with the wood settling. I use it regularly with our ceilidh band playing " Celtic" music, but I also enjoy Scandinavian and European folk tunes, Klezmer, Middle Eastern/ Greek music, blues and classical tunes

I've recently done a CD with a classical guitarist of some of our own tunes and other stuff that interests us.. http://www.andyhornby.net/moonlightgazette.html
