I did a Ratliff search and didn't find mention of his great Custom Mandolin Bulid Series...
I have watched it several times and love it.
I highly recommend it.
It's 29 parts long and is the fanciest mando build I've ever seen.

I too really enjoyed that series. He seems like a real nice guy, as well as being very talented. I couldn't imagine ever having the patience to do the inlay work he did. I'd go insane.

Watched them all. Over the top with the inlay though. Fanciest mandolin I ever saw.

I was impressed with his shop and tool setup. So much thought and development has gone into his system. I had been searching for a builder when I started watching his videos. I am now down to a few weeks before delivery of my Custom R5. it will have a similar headstock inlay to the one on the super ornate mando. My mando is hanging in the background, in the white, in episode 28. MAS with custom models does strange things to the passage of time. It seems to stand still and rush ahead, quite paradoxically!

Audey is a super nice guy. His videos featuring Gren Mandoski are a hoot.

I have one of Audey's RA5's from 1998..... if I ever needed a F style I certainly have him build me it's "not so identical" twin.... fortunately for my checking account his A is all the mandolin I need.

As someone who is on the verge of making the leap to start trying to build my own mandolin, that video series gave me so much inspiration!
