Pretty sure this is it, unless I've confused myself with chord names (no mando in hand at the moment). I play along with it npretty often.

Hey, thanks Mitch, thats great!
Just to get the lyrics (as I hear them) & chords in one place, I think this is pretty close.
I added the capoed chords for the guitar players.
Never More Will Roam Joe K. Walsh

Well the cold cold north called to me like a woman’s far off eyes
Pulled me from my loving home just for a frozen prize.
For the distant pole I set my sights; my spirits they were high
When I floated off to the north and bid all I knew good-bye.
For half a day I flew along , high upon the breeze
With the wind behind, the sun above, I’d make the pole with ease
Chorus
But the cold that steals about me stings me to my core
The midnight sun’s a hanging high ; my mind’s an awful roar.
Am I to find a shallow grave on this frozen road.
If ever I should make it back, I never more will roam.
<guitar solo>
But the wind she makes a fickle friend, soon her heart had turned.
She blew me from my chosen line while the seas below me churned.
And the ship lost air and began to sink and soon it ran aground
On a frozen chunk of barren rock. Well loneliness abounds.
Chorus
<mandolin solo,fiddle solo>
Well wish I’d left the north alone, like a woman left unkissed
As I lay down upon the ice, I think of all I’ve risked.
Was it ego drove me from my door lured by unknown
When I set out to make a mark on a desert made of snow.
Chorus
Excuse some of the theory errors, like the b7 that probably isn't really flat in the minor scale.

“Sharps/Flats” ≠ “Accidentals”
Thanks for this, love this song. In the chorus, though, it sounds to me like there's an Eb Bb in place of the second Gm, lending it a nice variation into a Bb major V IV I pattern over those two measures. So the full chorus pattern would be:
F Gm F Eb Bb F Gm Eb Bb D7 Gm
Great Tune ! Reminds me of a Norman Blake tune ,can't think of the name !
Love this tune. Was going to try to learn it, so this is super helpful. Thanks!

One correction to the lyric, it's Where loneliness abounds, not Well. Great job, thanks for this! Now do yourselves a favor and go watch this amazing version with Molly Tuttle and John Mailander:
