Thread: Ibanez M700SAVS??

    Default Ibanez M700SAVS??

Mando people, sorry, i just posted as couple of hours ago on which one would be a very very decent affordable mando, options were Eastman MD315 and a Loar LM590.
Well, now a friend in southern Germany says there's a dude he knows who's selling an Ibanez M700 for about 370 Euros, almost new, used for like two months. Is that a steal? Is it any comparable to an Eastman MD315 or a Loar LM590? or is it just a piece fire wood?
    Any feedback would be great!
    Thaaaaanks!

I love Ibanez Electric guitars (Still own an S540 I bought new as a teen). Mandolins, for the most part, no. Some of the old Japan mades versions are nice.

Eastman beats Ibanez just about any day IMO

I play an Eastman and love it.

Wow, that is quite the stable of Ibanez!

I have worked on a couple of those two points. One of the local pros uses one. Nice mandolins. Most of the Japanese made Ibanez mandolins I have seen were nice and I wouldn't hesitate if the price were right.
