    Default Kentucky km-950 depth measurement

    Hello all.

I just ordered a Kentucky km-950 and would like to get an armrest from McClung to go along with it. I was hoping to have the armrest here when the mandolin arrives but I need the depth measurement of the instrument to place the order. I was wondering if any of you kind folks who have a Kentucky km-950 could let me know the depth measurements of your mandolin? Thanks so much!

No tape measure handy (at work). But I just ordered whatever stock arm rest he had and it fits my KM-950 just fine.

The two km1000s I've had in my hands needed dougs shorter barrels. The standard ones he sends were too big (but worked just fine on every other mandolin I've had).

Enjoy your McClung armrest when you get it (and your new mandolin!). My order of an Ebony McClung arrived today, just installed it and it's superb. Feels so much more natural than my previous armrest!
