Default Tenor Guitar Tunebook (CGDA) updated

Just a quick note to say that I've revised and updated my free Tenor Guitar Tunebook - up from 41 tunes to 51 tunes.

As before - just stuff I've liked over the years.

    Will,
Thank you for your time, talent and generous spirit. This is a significant contribution to Tenor guitar enthusiasts. It was not long ago when one could find very little Tab for this great instrument.

    Thank you!!

    Tom

I have mostly played in DGBE tuning, but I have a new Tenor Guitar coming in next week and I'll take my Kala and tune it in 5ths and give some of these wonderful tunes a go!!

Good on you. It's also worth remembering that, even if the instrument is tuned GDAE, you could still play the tab without paying attention to the dots (!) and get the tune - but in a different key. Chords would have to be transposed, of course.

    Cheers,

    Will

    Hi Will-
It looks like ar least one if your arrangements is in Chicago tuning (La Mer). Thanks for your arrangements!

Quite right Greg - the "wrong" version got included by mistake!

I've now corrected it - and reloaded the book with the CGDA version of "La Mer". I might put the Chicago version up separately on the tenor tabs page later today.

    Thanks for the heads-up.

My pleasure, Huck. I don't look in here as much these days, but it' good to know that the tenor tabs are still useful. :-)

Will, thank you so much for the tab! Might I ask you, what app are you using to write your score? It's one of the very few that I am able to read easily with my not so good eyes.

I use a program called "Harmony Assistant" - a sort of mini-Sibelius-type program. It's a French team who wrote it, but it's in English. I've had it for some years now and have found it very useful. It can import/export a wide variety of music file types, and - most useful of all for me - can create tablature and scores.
