Default Weber 3-point Black Ice @ GC

I played this instrument at the Sherman Oaks Guitar Center, beautiful instrument. I wonder how many Black Ice 3-pointers there are, can't be many.

As with many GC used items, it looked much nicer than in the photos.

It appears to me that the price dropped by $600 to $3,199.00 now but I suspect Allen knows that.

I still like Allen's price better.

Personally, I don't care for the odd point design. But, I an ornery old git!

Is that some kind of locking clamp across the peghead? I can't really enlarge the picture enough to see what is going on.

I love the figure of the wood on the backside, but I agree with Timbofood about the 3 point design. Kind of like a 3/4 bathroom.....

They have it in the high end room with the fancy Les Pauls and Strats, etc. Can't just go in and pull them down off the hanger, have to get an employee to free them from their chastity belt.

Looks like they knocked a couple hundred more off of it. This should have been at least $5500.00 new I would think? I know the 2 pointer is that much.

Funny that they couldn't come up with some sort of oringinal peghead design though.

They're emulating the 1950-60's Gibson A-5, which had a 2-point body with the "scrolled" F-model headstock, IMHO. The A-5 was an oval-hole, though.

Another drop in price! The short points make it look lik one of the two points you are talking abut Allen but, with bad shoulders (bad posture?).

Ok, I just looked, it's 2900, how low does it go before it gets bought? I see they also have a 60's Gibson 2 point for 2100 in the hollywood mothership. I don't love them but sometimes there can be real deals in instruments that they aren't excited about. I bought a perfect 1930 Palm Tree National in the Hollywood store for 2K, If I go to LA this week, I'll stop by and see this...oh no it's right off the 134
