Thanks for the video. Pity we don't get to see your right hand doing all that great cross picking.
NICE! Thank you for that. I don't recognize the third one?
"I Saw Three Ships". I recognized the tune but I couldn't remember the name... I spent a couple minutes rummaging through a big Christmas tunebook I bought a couple months ago, looking for any likely 6/8-time melodies that matched the video, but gave up (200+ songs there and I'm not a very fast music reader), then... finally... it occurred to me to check if there was any text written below the video on the actual YouTube page, yup, the songs are listed there. So then I went back to my tunebook to double-check, easier now that I could look up the name in the index, yup, that's the one. The book says it's a traditional English carol.
P.S.: ondrej, nice pickin' !
It certainly is, at Christmas we played a set with 'Lannigan's Ball', 'In Dulce Jubilae (Good Christian Men Rejoice)', 'The Humours of Glendart' and finally 'We Saw 3 Ships' -the 3 Ships tend to be speedboats by the time you get to themThe book says it's a traditional English carol.
