New Mandolin Day
I really can't say enough about this mandolin. I found a used 2016 Mandolin Store Custom F5 and pulled the trigger. It's a step above an F5 and a step below The Fern in the Gibson pecking order.
My mandolin progression went from a Kentucky KM-160, to a Loar 500, to a 2014 Gibson F9 and finally to this. Each one has been a noticeable upgrade in sound and tone from the previous instrument. They've all made me happy, but this one makes me smile. The sustain, the richness of the notes, the ease of playing, the sustain--It's the complete package.
