best pickup for mando in rock band?

I have a Rigel. When things get loud I have issues. I think solid body elec mandolins sound like whatever pup is installed.
Only thinner. Gibson classic 57 in mine sounds like a les Paul on the bridge pup. Definitely not acoustic. I may swap it out
For a tele pup combo..why not..

Kent armstrong makes a thin pickup for jazz that attaches to the pickguard. It is thin enough to go under the strings of a mandolin near the fingerboard and sounds very nice. I have put a few on mandolins and some actually sound fairly acoustic if that is possible. You can get fairly loud without feedback as it is a magnetic pickup. I was able to use regular strings and not electric strings and have a decent sound. GHS is making the pure nickel and that would work for a magnetic pickup. These are low impedance like 6-7k so fairly clean sounding, well they are meant for jazz so. Anyway that is another option.

Realistically when Les Paul cut apart a guitar and made a solid block down the center for the neck, pickup and tailpiece ,
"the Log" than the electric guitar took off, Leo Fender had his approach..

for rock bands , get a solid.body magnetic pickup
