Default Happy Holidays with Mando Version of Vivaldi's Gloria

The Mandolin Society of Philadelphia wishes everyone Happy Holidays and sends best wishes for 2017!

The Society's two mandolin orchestras - Munier Mandolin & Guitar Orchestra and the Philadelphia Mandolin Ensemble - joined together withthe Media Chamber Chorale, under the direction of John Stroud, to perform this unique rendering of Vivaldi's Gloria (usually performed with string orchestra, trumpet, and oboe).

Many thanks to the 70+ musicians to devoted so much time to make this project come to fruition. Thanks also to CMSA's leaders and members who allowed us to share this performance at the 2016 Convention.

Thanks for sharing that. It was wonderful. My best regards to all involved.

Now, the only other thing I want for Christmas is a decent Philly cheesesteak out here on the left coast.

That's a great piece. Only trouble for me is that EVERY time I hear it all I can think is
    Gloria , Gloria, G-L-O-R-I-A!
