Default Completed 5 String Electric Octave Mandolin

Well here it is, warts and all! After 2 years of chipping away here and there I've finally finished my first attempt at building myself an instrument. Feels pretty darn good.

I figured I'd share it with people at the one place were someone won't ask "...is that a ukulele?"

Very special thanks to Nowa Crosby of Randolin Music in Burlington Vermont for his continuing guidance in all aspects of life, including luthiery, and Gary Kahler for the custom 5 string tailpiece.

Hey Bill, thanks. Sounds good, pickups are wired so each can go back an forth between series humbucking and single coil. Its been fun exploring the different combinations
