Default Travelin' McCoury's, Jeff Austin Band, the Grateful Ball. Wow!

Saw one of the best and longest shows and had just about the best time of my life this evening. Show started around 7:15 PM and we left close to midnight. 3 full sets. One by the McCoury's, One by the Austin band, and then a set of Dead Music where the nine musicians got together on stage all at once.
Got our $40.00 dollars worth and much, much more. It was at the Ram's Head in Annapolis. Both groups were in top form.
Rams Head is a table set up and we were sitting with a couple from Boulder. Turned out the guy was a poster here at the Café!

On the way out, we stopped at the box office and picked up a couple of tickets for Sierra Hull and Justin Moses next month.

You will enjoy it! I think they were going to Harrisburg PA, Washington DC, and Tennessee next. That Tennessee show is going to include Del McCoury and David Grisman. Man!

Annapolis is one beautiful town. What's the name of that great breakfast place on the main drag that's been there forever? Real history there too, and proud parents on the weekends visiting the cadets.

Do you mean Miss Shirley's Café? About a half mile walk on West Street, down from the Rams Head Tavern where the show was at. My wife loves that place.

I've been there on New Year's Eve. In fact, we dropped by during that Y2K faux excitement. Crazy place. Unreal crowds.
