re: album of solo mandolin-the official answer is that I'm holding off on that to pursue more lucrative career opportunities...like avant garde sock puppetry.

The Chord Melody System is really interesting and helpful. The one thing I've wondered about is if there are some recordings of the etudes. Sometimes Mel Bay gives links to download. It would be great if you could post a few here.
