Been listening...Sarah Jarosz with a sample off her new album, etc. I believe this show will enlarge Chris repertoire, not that it isn't already large.
    Enjoying it.

Brittanny Haas and Chris's playing Dizzy Gillespie's Salt Peanuts was beyond awesome.

Chris's answer on their Who is the Biggest Geek gameshow skit when asked what qualified him as a geek, "I have played mandolin nearly all my life."

The show has not lost any ground. He is doing good.

Started listening with my family in the mid-70's. It was a Saturday evening staple before heading out for the night. Been that way through thick and thin ever since. Tonight my wife and I watched it streaming with a glass (or two) of wine and enjoyed it just as much. We miss a few of the old favorites, but really enjoy all the music. I think this iteration is a keeper...

Chris is doing a great job and I think he will just keep getting better as he gets more familiar with the whole process. I really enjoyed the whole show--rushed home to stream it. Never did that with Garrison as the host. Lots of people were chatting about it on youtube, many of them new to PHC.

I never noticed before how much of the pick he has sticking out when he plays. I guess you can see it better with that white pick. Something new to try.

You can really tell how much this show actually does mean to Chris...
I think he and all those involved with the show are really putting their hearts into this.
    We'll done!

Listening to the Sunday re-run on my local NPR station yesterday, I was reminded of how much I enjoy that guy's mandolin playing! I am ready for a new show, and Thile is perfect for the role. To think we get to hear him play with guests every week, live on the radio. This is going to get very good indeed.
