Love this tune - big fan of both, and really enjoyed their duo album. Anyone know what make/model Earle is strumming?

"Well, I don't know much about bands but I do know you can't make a living selling big trombones, no sir. Mandolin picks, perhaps..."
Good stuff. I need to check that album out.
Great to see them prime time.
At first I thought his mando was a Northfield Model M, but not so sure, think the peghead may be a little different.
Looks like the same tailpiece Collings an Pava uses. I tried to screen capture and enhance the picture in photoshop, but I could not resolve the name on the headstock. The name goes up and across the headstock, like a Collings does also. But the end of the fretboard isn't slanted like the MT/MT2. Peghead shape doesn't seem to match Collings either.
Ah. Love the internet.

Girouard Custom Studio A Oval
P.W. Crump OM-III
Great stuff! Steve's lost a lot of weight.
Totally going on 1 view, while simultaneously watching Sportscenter, but Gibson A9 popped to mind.
Btw, I enjoyed it...

Big Steve Earle fan here, but I gotta ask, is that really all him playing live in the beginning? I think I hear a second mando.
